"Knights of Cydonia" (sometimes shortened to "Knights", or abbreviated to "KoC") is a song from the 2006 album Black Holes & Revelations. It was released as the third single from the album (following "Starlight") on CD, 7" vinyl, DVD and as a digital download, on November 27th, 2006.

The song reached #10 on the UK Singles Chart, and was voted #1 for the Triple J Hottest 100 of 2007, defeating second place ("Straight Lines" by Silverchair) by just 13 votes: the closest margin yet.
